The idea for my sculptures originates in my direct environment. They are small fragments of things that I dayly see, meet, experience or repress and that then find a way out through a sculpting language by witch I make my own "me" knowable. Every sculpture gets a part of that "me". That way every sculpture gets its life breath ; it plays a game with emotion, force and simplicity: three basic features of my work. Leo Camps
